Exclusive Statley Homes & Gardens: Cotswolds and the West Country- Booking opens 1st January 2020

For the Arts Society Beds & Herts Area

A tailor-made all-inclusive tour for members of societies within the Beds & Herts Area with three exclusive private visits.  Enjoy two out-of-hours openings of the magnificent stately homes Buscot Park and Upton House, both famous for their outstanding art collections, as well as a private opening of Great Chalfield Manor where we will be welcomed by the owners for lunch followed by a house and garden tour. There is also arranged a special visit of Bourton House Garden, one of the hidden gems of the Cotswolds, and there will be free time to stroll through the charming village of Bibury where a delicious afternoon tea is booked at the famous Swan Hotel.

Overnight stay in an elegant 4-star hotel nestling on the edge of the Cotswolds, where dinner with wine is included.

The tour is being organised by Arts Society lecturer Siân Walters who runs a cultural tour company, Art History in Focus and organised Moor Park Arts Society’s overseas tours in 2017 and 2019. Siân will also be our tour lecturer and manager and accompany us throughout, with talks on board the coach between visits.
